Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Library is an organization created to help support Western Allegheny Community Library through various fundraising and volunteer efforts. Among other duties, we raise money to help maintain the library’s budget, provide funding for the summer reading program, and volunteer at events throughout the year, including the library's annual fundraiser, "Fall for Your Library." The Friends also help establish and grow community partnerships, operate regular book sales, and manage donated materials. But above all, we are a group of volunteers who love books, understand the vital role WACL plays in the community, and want to promote the library's programs and services. What Information Do We Collect? How Can You Access and Correct Your Information? You may request access to all your personally identifiable information that we collect online and maintain in our database by emailing us using the contact form provided to you within the site structure of our website.
Do We Disclose Information to Outside Parties? We may provide aggregate information about our customers, sales, website traffic patterns and related website information to our affiliates or reputable third parties, but this information will not include personally identifying data, except as otherwise provided in this privacy policy.
