Sensory Room
We have a Sensory Room at the library! Designed for young patrons with autism or other sensory processing challenges, it provides a safe and calming environment for patrons that might be feeling overwhelmed or overstimulated during their library visit. Alternative seating, fidgets, and other materials are available to provide sensory-seeking or sensory-avoidant patrons an array of choices to explore and find a useful tool for their needs. The Sensory Room is available during library hours; stop by any time we're open to see it, use it, and enjoy its calming atmosphere. Project funded by Legislative Grant: Celebrating Our Communities.
