Sensory Saturday: Sensory Processing Tools, Toys, and Tips
A child with sensory processing challenges can benefit from a host of tools and toys. But wouldn't it be great to try before you buy? Miss Mia, a Chatham University Occupational Therapy Doctoral student completing her capstone project here at WACL, will share various hands-on resources from headphones to fidget toys, weighted blankets to textured bean bags for you and your child to give a test run. Best for families with children with sensory concerns, autism, or other developmental differences. Please register online; drop-ins welcome.
