Tribute Books

Contributions to the library may be made in memory, honor, or celebration of a loved one, or to commemorate a special occasion. For a minimum gift of $25, a new book will be added to the collection with a bookplate acknowledging your special gift. You may select an area of interest for your tribute book, or our library staff would be happy to choose a quality item for you. We can also send a card to the honoree acknowledging your gift in his or her name. Download and complete the tribute book form.

Matching Gifts

Double or even triple your financial gifts through your employer’s matching gift program. Some companies also match volunteer hours or the contributions of spouses and retirees. Check with your employer’s HR office and submit the required documentation with your donation. We will take care of the rest and maximize your gift!

In-Kind Donations

You can also help the Library by donating used reading materials and media, professional services, supplies and more.

We welcome the following:
  • New and gently used hardbacks, paperbacks, and magazines
  • New and gently used movies and music
  • Gift certificates and other prizes for our annual events and auctions
  • Professional services, such as technical, design, and printing services
  • Arts and craft supplies for our programs
  • Food and beverages for programs and events
Please note, we cannot accept encyclopedia sets or damaged items. Book and multimedia donations can be dropped off at the library during regular business hours. Please bring your donations in containers that do not need to be returned to you; boxes are preferred.
If you would like to donate professional services, please contact the library director, Amanda Kirby, at (412) 695-8150.
