Support Your Library
Did you know that public funding only covers 74% of WACL's operating budget? Private donations from generous, dedicated community members help cover the budget gap and allow us to continue to provide a safe, inclusive, and accessible community-centered library that is free to the public and empowers its residents’ personal, educational, and professional growth through our collection, programs, and services. The library continues to grow thanks to the generosity of people like you!
Donations made to Western Allegheny Community Library are tax deductible. You can also volunteer your time, provide in-kind support, attend an event, or help spread the word about our wonderful library. However you choose to give, we thank you!

Double or even triple your financial gifts through your employer’s matching gift program. Some companies also match volunteer hours or the contributions of spouses and retirees. Check with your employer’s HR office and submit the required documentation with your donation. We will take care of the rest and maximize your gift!
