Friends Outreach & Little Free Libraries

The Friends of the Library are committed to supporting literacy throughout the community, with initiatives like the addition of Little Free Libraries and a partnership with the West Allegheny Food Pantry, where free books are now available during the food pantry's regular distribution hours.

The Friends currently manage Little Free Libraries at strategic locations throughout the community. So when you're in the area, feel free to grab a book to enjoy. Once you're done, you can pass it on to a friend or neighbor, bring it back for someone else, or exchange it for a different book for others to enjoy.

These Little Free Libraries are currently located at:

  • North Fayette Community Center, Donaldson Park
  • Findlay Township Activity Center, Imperial
  • Findlay Township Municipal Building, Clinton
  • Oakdale, next to Panhandle Trail Gazebo
  • Walden Woods, to the left on Evergreen Run by the main entrance
