Online Resources

Your library card gives you access to hundreds of thousands of downloads across various types of media as well as online learning and databases through our eLibrary. Use your library card to set up an account with these free online resources. Some may require you to have an email address and a PIN linked to your account. Please visit the library's front desk if you need to add or update your email address and PIN.

Don't have a library card? Visit the online catalog to create a temporary card with instant access to all our online resources! Just stop in some time we're open to upgrade to a permanent account and get your physical card.

  • Libby by Overdrive is our largest eBook and Audiobook collection, including adult, teen, and children’s fiction, nonfiction, current authors, and classic titles. Also included are full-color digital magazines released simultaneously with the print versions. You can borrow up to 20 items at a time for 3 weeks, and there are never any late fees. The Overdrive collection is accessed through the Libby app or at libbyapp.com/library/acla.

  • Hoopla brings you thousands of movies, television shows, and music albums for free, with no wait lists or late fees. It also houses a growing collection of eBooks, audiobooks, and graphic novels. You can borrow up to fifteen items per month, video for three days, music for seven days, books for three weeks.

  • Information at your fingertips. Search collections of up-to-date and accurate information from trusted sources such as encyclopedias, journals, reference books, and other authoritative resources. It's also your one-stop-shopping for all county eResources, including research & entertainment.

  • Pennsylvania's Electronic Library of databases & other resources. This project is made possible in part by Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) funds from the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services and through Library Access Funds administered by the Office of Commonwealth Libraries, Department of Education, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

  • Libby Magazines offers full-color digital magazines released simultaneously with the print versions. Browse your library's collection of popular titles and back issues! Checkouts on these magazines do not count toward your checkout limit and they are always available. Use on your computer or download the Libby app to your mobile device.

  • Get online help from real tutors every day from 12 pm to 12 am. Live Homework Help offers online tutoring for grades K to 12 and college level students in English, Math, Science and Social Studies. Also included is the option to submit a paper or math question for review, as well as test prep. Non-traditional students and adult learners can take advantage of resume help, essay writing, skills building, GED prep and other tutoring services designed specifically for adults.

  • The definitive source of information for working on family history & building out your family tree! Ancestry.com is available courtesy of ProQuest and its partner Ancestry. IN-LIBRARY USE ONLY.

  • Bookflix pairs classic video storybooks with related nonfiction books, offering an engaging way to link fact and fiction, reinforce early reading skills, and introduce children to a world of knowledge and exploration.

  • Mango Languages is an online language-learning system teaching actual conversation skills for a wide variety of languages. 72 world languages are available, including Spanish, French, German, English for second language learners...even Pirate!

Evaluation of Information Protection Practices -- Periodically, our operations and business practices are reviewed for compliance with organization policies and procedures governing the security, confidentiality and quality of our information. Employee Access, Training and Expectations -- Our organization values, ethical standards, policies and practices are committed to the protection of user information. In general, our business practices limit employee access to confidential information, and limit the use and disclosure of such information to authorized persons, processes and transactions.
  10. How Can You Access and Correct Your Information? You may request access to all your personally identifiable information that we collect online and maintain in our database by emailing us using the contact form provided to you within the site structure of our website.
  11. Do We Disclose Information to Outside Parties? We may provide aggregate information about our customers, sales, website traffic patterns and related website information to our affiliates or reputable third parties, but this information will not include personally identifying data, except as otherwise provided in this privacy policy.
