Monday – Thursday: 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Please Note: The library opens at 10:00 a.m. on the last Monday of the month.
Friday – Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Sundays (Sept. – May): 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

The Allegheny County Library Association (ACLA) is a federated library system of 46 public libraries delivering service in more than 70 locations. Member Libraries include the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, which has 19 locations, and 45 other libraries and their branches located throughout Allegheny County. The Pennsylvania Library Association (PaLA) is the state’s oldest and most diverse professional library organization, representing more than 1,300 personal, institutional, and commercial members affiliated with public, academic, special, and school libraries throughout the Commonwealth.
The Western Allegheny Community Library serves the communities of Findlay Township, North Fayette Township, and Oakdale Borough. The Western Allegheny Community Library is a gold level library in the Star Library Program as part of the Pennsylvania Library Association’s 21st Century Literacies Initiative, PA Forward. This statewide initiative places the spotlight on Pennsylvania libraries and the important role they have in the lives of citizens.
This project is made possible in part by Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) funds from the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services and through Library Access Funds administered by the Office of Commonwealth Libraries, Department of Education, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Tom Wolf, Governor. RAD supports and finances regional assets in the areas of libraries, parks and recreation, sports and civic facilities, and arts and culture programs.
   
Western Allegheny Community Library is a proud member of the Pittsburgh Airport Area Chamber of Commerce.
Rotary is the largest service organization in the world with clubs in just about every country, exemplifying “service above self.” The Parkway West Club’s service area includes the communities of Findlay, Imperial, Kennedy, McDonald, North Fayette, Oakdale, and Robinson Township.
